Posts Slowing Down...Weight Loss Slowing Down

Yes its true, I'm slowing somewhat, although not completely giving up yet. I'm still exercising at least 30 minutes every day (and Saturday ran for an hour). My pace is getting better too. But I still haven't introduced any weight training. And low-carb diet is on semi-hiatus. And some of my bad habits are creeping back in...but I'm still hanging in there.

Eating pumpkin seeds now, but don't get so excited, went to lunch with Hanhua at a nice Shanghainese restaurant: DUMPLINGS!!!! Plus soup with lots of rice. Last night back to Sureno with US visitor, had wagyu steak again...and some cheese & potato fritters. Today Hanhua told me that most people who come to China lose weight because of the healthy Chinese food...hmmm. That's all I can say...hmmm.

  1. I walked out of my office to Shannon's (Jason's EA) desk today and picked up a mini-Snickers from the candy dish and was about to unwrap it. I figured, what the heck, I ran 13 miles this weekend. Jason physically took it out of my hand, and put it back in the candy dish and put the candy dish on the other side of her desk so I couldn't get it. And then he told me about the 12 books that he'd read on the subject about how bad processed sugar is for you...even if you're running. So I am keeping off the processed sugar for a little while longer. All you need is a Jason! Maybe you can put Stan in charge. :)

  2. Keep working on it. Every little bit helps. And reading books on health and exercise and diet can help with the motivation. But Dave and i are pulling for you.

    Dave's mom.
